Meet The Team

Dan McDonnell

Alex Mitchell

Paul Wilde

Shooting Instructor

Dan started shooting later in life than some at the age of 21. Having qualified as an aircraft maintenance technician he could enjoy his shooting more to the extent of shooting twice if not 3 times per week. Although passionate about aircraft he knew shooting had to be a part of his future career.

In 2017 Dan joined the LVSA as ground manager and instructor, a role which he adopted and took the ground to new levels both expanding on scope and presentation. He learnt a lot from working with the team there and used this as a vital stepping stone.

In 2018 Dan started his own venture and Presitge Shots was born. Now offering infield tuition to a number of clients across the country and coaching some of the top clay shots of their generation. Dan focusses on 1 to 1 tuition with all levels of shooters with an aim to helping them meet their potential.

Alex is our most experienced team member. Having spent the last 40+ years in the industry there isn’t much he hasn’t seen.

Alex teaching style is of a relaxed nature which beginners take well to, extremely supportive in his style with unlimited patience.

A real asset to the Prestige Shots team.

Alex has spent many days in the field having shot some of the top game shoots across the country, his experience infield is unparallel to others.

He spent a great deal of his shooting career focussing on trap disciplines, especially ABT, and is therefor our chief trap shooting instructor.

Paul joined us in 2019. Having spent many years clay shooting, and also pistol shooting before the amnesty, Paul has a vast amount of experience and is always happy to pass it on to the next generation of shooters.

As with all our instructors, Paul is CPSA qualified with APSI affiliation whilst also being a recognised Lantra loader.

Paul is a very active sporting clays shot taking part in regular registered competitions keeping his practical experience up whilst also working on new techniques he can pass on to his clients.

Paul carries out a number of basic lessons for us and also assists with most corporate shoots.
